Metabolomics of Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma and Beyond
A lecture by Steve S. Hu, Ph.D., M.B.A.

In-Person
Hosted by: Oral and Systemic Health Sciences
This presentation details the integrated application of metabolomics and genomics to unravel dysregulated metabolic enzyme targets in Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma (HNSCC). Dr. Hu will demonstrate how this multi-omics approach reveals fundamental alterations in cancer biology, identifying critical targets driving tumor progression and metastasis. Furthermore, he will then extend the scope "beyond" cancer, showcasing the broader utility of metabolomics in studying other oral diseases and conditions.
Dr. Hu is a professor in the UCLA School of Dentistry's Section of Biosystems and Function. Read his bio here.
