Pediatric Grand Rounds - Pediatric Lupus
Mary Beth Son, MD, is a pediatric rheumatologist with extensive training in the care of children and adolescents with complex rheumatologic disorders. She received her medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School in 2001. Dr. Son subsequently completed her internship (2002) and residency (2004) in pediatrics through the Boston Combined Residency Program (BCRP). Following residency, Dr. Son pursued subspecialty training in Pediatric Rheumatology at Boston Children’s Hospital, completing her fellowship in 2008. Her clinical, research, and academic interests center on evidence‑based management of pediatric rheumatic diseases, interdisciplinary care models, and the education of trainees across the continuum of pediatric medical training.
